How do I set a goal?

Goals often occur in steps. You can have a long-term goal and short-term goals that act as stepping stones. These stepping stones help you to achieve success along the way and reach your full potential.

Your rehabilitation service may use the Queensland Rehabilitation Clinical Network goal-setting workbook or other goal-setting resources to help you set goals.

Watch the video - “How to use your rehabilitation goal setting workbook” to learn how to set goals that support your rehabilitation journey.

New eLearning course

If you would like to learn more about goal-setting, we have developed a self-paced, four module eLearning course to provide clinicians with information about how to implement person-centred, interdisciplinary goal-setting practice within an evidence-based framework that supports consumer participation in rehabilitation settings. This course is also suitable for consumers wanting to learn more about goal-setting.

You can register for an account here and then access the Goal-setting in rehabilitation course via the iLearn external course catalogue.
