The first 2000 days: the opportunity of a lifetime

Meeting date: 3-4 November 2022

It’s a critical time in a child’s life: the 2000 days between conception and the start of primary school are vital for a child’s development, physically, mentally and socially. A child’s experience during this time has long lasting effects on their life, including their health outcomes. The Queensland Clinical Senate’s November 2022 meeting explored a healthy start to life, and how we can better help families to thrive. We’re working with Health Consumers Queensland and Health and Wellbeing Queensland, along with a number of other key groups and contributors to ensure we have the right people around the table.
